Refreshed and reinvigorated IL Divo are back with their much anticipated, forthcoming album “The Promise”. For the new album they wanted to branch out creatively and an early decision was to work with only one producer, long-time collaborator Steve McCutcheon (aka Steve Mac).
After much refining and defining the musical genre IL Divo has effectively created a style that suit both opera and pop. The result is an album of contrasts. Along with the version of Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s ‘The Power Of Love’, the album also includes a haunting and beautiful version of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’. And the DVD includes footage of 3 performed songs at Pula Arena in Croatia and an 11-minute documentary of
The Promise.
