“Set in Stone” is Brian McFadden’s second solo album since his debut as a solo artiste with “Irish Son” in 2004, which topped the album charts in the UK, Ireland, & many other parts of Europe.
Brian McFadden first rose to fame with Irish boy band phenomenon Westlife that holds the record for the most #1 singles in a row on the UK charts. They had a total of 12 #1 singles, and 4 #1 albums, selling more than 30 million albums worldwide, during Brian’s time in the group.
With “Irish Son”, he churned out chart-topping singles, namely “Real to Me” which is his first solo single, and the worldwide hit duet with Delta Goodrem “Almost Here”.
On “Set In Stone”, which went straight to the top 5 in Australian album charts when it released, Brian McFadden executive produced and funded the record himself. The first single “Like Only A Woman Can”, written for his fiancée – Australian multi-platinum selling singer songwriter Delta Goodrem, made its way to the Australian charts and topped the Irish Singles Charts! Delta also co-wrote “Forgive Me Twice” on the record.
Brian has also been critically recognised with his song ‘Demons’ being featured in the hit US TV series ‘Lost’. He has also written songs for artists as diverse as Il Divo and Girls Aloud as well as co-writing the theme song ‘Together We Are One’ for the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
